This event organized by Makaia is the ideal space to explore new ideas, tools and different approaches in the social sector.

Experts on many topics shared their knowledge and reaffirmed our approach. Here we share with you our main learnings:

Social innovation and sustainability: how to develop scalable and sustainable solutions to social problems remains the great challenge and involves strengthening partnerships that not only generate impact in the short term, but are enduring over time.

International cooperation: strategic alliances and cooperation between different countries and sectors are essential to address common problems. This not only broadens our networks, but also allows us to access new sources of funding and knowledge, thus strengthening local initiatives with a global approach. It is key to understand that cooperation is not only understood to be financial but also in knowledge, networks, contacts, among others.

Technology for social good: in an increasingly digital world, we are convinced that technological tools have the potential to close gaps and empower the most underserved populations.

The development of innovative and sustainable solutions is key to maximize social impact not only from an environmental perspective, but also in the way projects achieve independence and durability over time.

Cross-sector collaboration to generate systemic changes: the articulation between the private sector, NGOs and government entities can accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This without forgetting that it is a challenge for everyone to integrate technology into social projects so that it becomes increasingly important. This implies an extra effort in digital education that cannot be achieved without first defining the strengthening of social organizations where they are consolidated with their operational and financial processes.

Communication as the key to building trust

In the world of social investment, communication plays an essential role not only in giving visibility to projects, but also to build trust with communities and strategic allies.

Its dissemination allows us to transparently show the impact of our actions, generating greater commitment and motivating more stakeholders to get involved. Proper communication management also allows us to amplify the impact of our projects by reaching more audiences and opening up new opportunities for collaboration.

This conference reinforced our vision of the importance of telling real and powerful stories that connect emotionally with people and generate greater trust in what we do.

Strategic philanthropy: a necessary pillar for the social sector

Through a more structured and results-oriented approach, strategic philanthropy helps us identify areas of greatest need and allocate resources more efficiently. This approach is essential because it allows us not only to support initiatives, but also to generate lasting change over time by ensuring that each investment has a clear and measurable purpose, making our efforts more sustainable.

We reaffirm the importance of continuing to innovate in strategic alliances to multiply the impact of projects, apply the lessons learned in the mission of building a better future and join in the promotion of solutions for sustainable development.
