Since 2019, we have supported the design and printing of assistive devices through 3D printing for people with arm or hand disabilities.
Notable results: We have achieved a 166% increase in productivity, producing an assistive device for individuals with total or partial upper limb disabilities every 25 hours.
We have delivered 320 devices in 26 municipalities across Colombia to beneficiaries who, in 86% of cases, had never had a prosthesis before. Each piece created with 3D technology not only provides a functional tool but also becomes a symbol of overcoming challenges, inspiring beneficiaries to face obstacles with courage and determination. This initiative represents a Social Investment and Impact Investment, promoting Sustainable Development and the inclusion of people with disabilities in society.
Project from 2019 and still active.
