We participate in ‘Impulso Joven (Because Youth Matters)’, a process that is part of UNESCO’s Global Youth Fellowships program. The aim is to mobilize both financial and ‘in-kind’ support for young people around the world. But how did we get to this point? Thanks to the process of supporting and strengthening what we have done for several years at ONE with Humans 3D.
Out of 919 applicants, twenty initiatives considered exceptional were selected and were beneficiaries of the program. Of those 20, only 4 were Colombian. A unique opportunity to participate in this intervention model that seeks to strengthen the capacities of young people, promote their production of knowledge and create spaces for dialogue.
Although the program began in 2023, June 10-14 was a crucial week to reinforce learning, and strengthen ties between participants, with the face-to-face meeting at the Villa Ocampo Observatory in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There we talked about inclusion, education and mental health; we were also trained as leaders of change through the promotion of initiatives related to our projects.
